Mommies Lil' Pumpkin

These were taken after our trip to the pumpkin patch.

Pumpkin Patch

 Yesterday we took Damian to his first pumpkin patch. 

Riding in style to pick out his pumpkin. 

 He didn't seem to care how tall he was, he just wanted to talk to the big pumpkin.

Cutest scarecrow ever! 

Don't mind the big fella sticking out the back.

He picked the perfect pumpkin. 

"Look mommy I got a pumpkin" 

It's only fair that he pull his pumpkin back to the car.

After picking out our pumpkins and playing it was off to get some apple cider donuts, yummy!

Decorating for Halloween

I love decorating for Halloween, almost as much as Christmas.  I have had to replace the majority of my decorations due to the fire.  Here is what some of my house looks like this Halloween.

The mantle has purple flickering lights on it.

I made these Jack-o-Lanterns.  Damian loves to take them down and play with them.

These glittery bats I made dangle off my dining room chandelier. 

 This is the one Halloween decoration that made it through the fire.  Thank goodness because it took a long time to make.  The tree has purple flickering lights and looks best at night time.  

My new favorite find are wall stickers.  

Instead of doing a wreath I made a broom for the door.  I forgot to take a close-up picture of it, so this far away one will have to do.

Troubles

It is official...Damian is walking.  He took his first steps by himself at 10.5 months and by 11 months he had mastered the basics.  Now he is all over the place keeping me on my toes.

I have been procrastinating on childproofing some of the cupboards and am now playing a mad dash of catch-up.  I don't mind him playing with my bowls, it's kinda cute.
