Baby Pictures

Sorry that it has taken me so long to post these pictures. He was very active at the ultrasound and wasn't shy about showing us his goods! And that long little leg is getting pretty skilled at kicking my bladder!

Topsy Turvy Tuesday

This is a little segment I would like to call Topsy Turvy Tuesday. I really wanted to start a garden in our new backyard, but we moved in late spring and I didn't have the energy to build raised beds and start a garden. So I did the next best thing until next year-I got myself a topsy turvy tomato plant! I am sure many of you have seen the infomercials on them, the upside down planter. I was super excited to plant it and then it rained and rained and rained (we are in Oregon I know). Well the rain wasn't good for my poor tomato plant and I thought it was going to die, but I held out hope. Finally last week I noticed some blooms on it and the other day I saw one tiny green tomato. My plant was alive and thriving!!! Now I have lots of blooms and two tiny tomatoes :) So every Tuesday I will take a picture of my growing tomatoes and proudly display them on here for all to enjoy!

Camping

For our anniversary we went camping at Beverly Beach in Newport. The weather was perfect and Jorge did such a wonderful job at setting up the campsite while I supervised. It was the first time that we had taken Charlie camping and he did super good. He would bark at other dogs that would dare come into our campsite, such a protective dog-don't worry his bark is bigger than his bite! Shannon came down on Wednesday and he and Jorge went golfing and then we all went down to the pier and went crabbing. It was soooo windy that Charlie spent the whole time inside my jacket. We caught one crab but as we were pulling up the net it jumped free-oh well we weren't going to cook him anyways. All and all it was a fabulous annniversary trip-nothing beats smores, banana boats and campfires!

Just getting started...

I decided that with all the new things going on in our lives I would create a blog to share everything with our famliy and friends. As many of you know we recently bought a house and we are expecting our first baby in November. Our little baby boy will be joining Charlie, Chico and Coco. I know they all have C names, once you start it's hard to stop. We will not be like the Duggars though and name all our children with matching names. I don't know why the blog is called Camp Campos, it is just something funny I say when we go camping-it may change who knows!
