Look who's 2!!!

On Sunday we celebrated Adelaide's 2nd birthday at Jon and Rachel's house. It was really cute to watch her ohhh and ahhh at the presents-before she even opened them! I can't believe she is 2, what a big girl. She loves baby dolls and was feeding hers and putting her down for a nap, soon she will be ready to baby-sit my little boy!
She was really excited to get on the little bike, and then it wobbled a little and she wanted right off! She got back on later though and was a-ok!

Tomato Time!!!

Finally a tomato that is starting to turn red! I just hope that my poor tomatoes can ripen before the weather gets too cold. The other day Jorge asked me if the tomatoes were supposed to be green, ummmmm nope.

Birthday Fun!

After sleeping in ( my birthday request) we decided to head over to the beach for the rest of the day. We shopped for a couple hours, ok Rebecca and I shopped and Jorge walked Charlie, thanks mi amor! We had a nice dinner at Kyllos in Lincoln City and then decided to head over to Tillamook and Cape Lookout. Jon, Rachel, Adelaide and my parents are camping over there. We stopped off at the cheese factory and became farmers and cows and then sampled the cheese and of course bought some ice cream. We finally made it over to Cape Lookout in time to watch the sunset and roast some marshmallows for smores! It was a long day with lots of driving but it was a wonderful birthday!

Rebeccas Baby Shower

Rebecca is here visiting from Costa Rica and since we will not see her again before her baby girl Emma is born, Jen and I decided to throw her a baby shower. It is exciting to have my best friend due just 2 months after I am. I am certain that my little boy and her little girl will be the best of friends even though they live so far apart!

Blueberries and baby bumps!

Mom and I decided to head out early in the morning to beat the heat and pick some blueberries and pick up some fresh peaches. They probably should have weighed us after we were all through, but as you can see I did manage to get enough to freeze for future pancakes, muffins and just all around good snacking. Today also marked my 28th week of pregnancy and the start of my third trimester. I think I kinda even look like a big blueberry! ( I am the only one allowed to make that joke about myself :) Every 10 minutes or so a loud BOOM would go off to scare the birds away and it certainly made the baby boy kick. All around it was a great morning and I am looking forward to my blueberry pancakes tomorrow morning!

Topsy Turvy Tuesday Time

I gave everyone a break last week from my tomato planting but I am back this week with 6 tomatoes!!! As you can see they are getting bigger and will hopefully be ripe before the cold weather comes :) The tomatoes are getting heavier so the branches that were once growing up are now headed back down again.

World Cup-just a little late!

I understand that the World Cup has been over and done with for almost a month now, but I just had to share this cute picture of my men! Everytime that Mexico would play we would all put on our green shirts in support, yes even Charlie. Though Mexico didn't win it, it was a month of soccer at our house and lots of yelling of "goooooooooollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll"

Topsy Turvy Tuesday Time

I have a new little tomato on my plant and my other two little tomatoes are growing rapidly. I just hope that they ripen before the weather goes bad!
