A Royal Tea Party!

In honor of the Royal Wedding I hosted a Royal Tea to watch the big event live.  Hosted is probably a grander word then necessary since it was just my pops and I, but hosted sounds much more british.  Jorge, Damian and my mother were the smart ones and stayed in bed choosing to watch the replay later today.  Pop and I had a grand time dressing up, sipping tea and eating my homemade scones and cucumber sandwiches.  I made myself as feathery headpiece to wear, not quite as grand as Victoria Beckhams but fit for the occasion in my living room.  We had great fun watching the festivities unfold, the big reveal of "The Dress", and the pomp and circumstance as they left in the open carriage followed by the Royal Horse Guard.  A real life Fairy Tale.

Easter wishes

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Easter.  Here are a few pictures from Damian's first Easter.  We started the morning out going to church, Damian just loves hearing grandpa sing!  I understand that my son is only 5 months old and can't eat anything that I put into his basket, but I went all out anyways.  There were also some non-edible items in there!
He could almost reach the carrot!

Rollin Along...

Damian is on the move!  He rolls and scootches himself all over the place now.  The pets better watch out, soon he will be after them!
He really loves the blinds, he likes to make them swing back and forth.

Last call for Snow Babies!

This last weekend we went to Mt. Hood for the weekend with my parents, Jon, Rachel and Addie to have some snow fun before it disappears.  This was Damian's first trip to the snow and he really seemed to like it.  We stayed in a log cabin built by legendary cabin builder Henry Steiner in 1930.  It had great ambiance but could have definitely used more lighting!
My little snow bunny!

Two cute snow bunnies!

I think I should buy him sunglasses of his own, mommies don't fit him very well.

There was a very cool giant rope swing that we all took a turn on.

We went up to Timberline Lodge for lunch and got to meet the resident St. Bernard's Bruno and Heidi.  Bruno (shown above) let Damian pet him.  Good thing Bruno is pretty docile, Damian was trying to get a hold of his fur!  Heidi was on her way outside for her walk so she didn't want to stop and pose for us.

What handsome boys!
