For our anniversary we went camping at Beverly Beach in Newport. The weather was perfect and Jorge did such a wonderful job at setting up the campsite while I supervised. It was the first time that we had taken Charlie camping and he did super good. He would bark at other dogs that would dare come into our campsite, such a protective dog-don't worry his bark is bigger than his bite! Shannon came down on Wednesday and he and Jorge went golfing and then we all went down to the pier and went crabbing. It was soooo windy that Charlie spent the whole time inside my jacket. We caught one crab but as we were pulling up the net it jumped free-oh well we weren't going to cook him anyways. All and all it was a fabulous annniversary trip-nothing beats smores, banana boats and campfires!
Alright, I really suck! I didn't even send you a card or text for your anniversary.....sorry! Obviously I am not an awesome sister so please forgive me....I need a calendar stapled to my hand for easy reference! Still glad that you had a great trip! Loving the blog and glad to have an easy way to keep up with you now that you aren't on facebook....hooray for blogs!
