A year with Frog and Toad
This past Saturday my mom and I took Damian and Addie to see the children's production of "A Year With Frog and Toad". I loved those books growing up so it was a great treat for me as well. My mom got the tickets at an auction for Addie's school and we also got to take a backstage tour. The kiddos had lots of fun and Damian did really well at his first play.
We couldn't stand in front of the poster..we had to lay down
I'm not even really sure what to call this "chair"
They had some art tables set up for the kids to make frog and toad ponds before the show
Nani read the book to them again so they would be all set
A few snacks before heading into the show!

Outdoor Fun
The weather has been so pretty the past week and we have really been soaking it up with outdoor activities. Damian and I worked in the garden, got all our seeds and plants planted and will post pictures as soon as they start to pop up.
We played baseball
Set the pool up
He deemed the pool too chilly but the sprinkler was perfect!

Back to the Beach
I must confess I have been a bad blogger and I will make a better effort to stay on top of my blogging game. This past Wednesday the weather was gorgeous so we decided to take a trip over to the beach and play in the sand. It was a lovely day and makes me so thankful to live so close to the coast.

Here comes Peter Cotton tail....
Each Easter Damian understand more the concept of the Egg Hunt. He knows there is candy in the eggs, but he still gets locked up after picking up one or two eggs-he just wants to empty them and get to the good stuff! That's alright, he has many more years to master the art of Easter Egg Hunting.
Started off strong...
Ohhh candy!
He was very excited to see the trail of glittery eggs that the Easter Bunny left leading up to his basket.
And off to pick up more eggs that the Easter Bunny left. The Easter bunny was a little ambitious and shouldn't have put out so many eggs as his little helpers had to pick up the majority of them :)

Fun with Markers...washable of course
Coloring with crayons is a much cleaner activity, however Damian loves to snap his crayons so we usually stick with markers.
And yes, he is coloring naked. Much easier to clean that way!
Such a serious artist.
Coloring himself is of course much more fun!
I don't have a picture of the completed project, but as you can probably tell they would be turned into binoculars!
FYI: coloring your body with washable markers will turn your bath water pretty colors!!!
