Fun with Markers...washable of course

Coloring with crayons is a much cleaner activity, however Damian loves to snap his crayons so we usually stick with markers.  

 And yes, he is coloring naked.  Much easier to clean that way!

I don't have a picture of the completed project, but as you can probably tell they would be turned into binoculars!

FYI: coloring your body with washable markers will turn your bath water pretty colors!!!

St. Patty's Day Fun

A naughty little leprechaun made a stop at our house on St. Patty's day.  Leaving a trail of gold, little green footprints through the house, he dyed our milk green but left a little treasure at the end for Damian.  

 Damian was pretty excited to see his little treasure, but the leprechaun left a note instructing none would be eaten until after lunch!  Smart leprechaun!

I would like to point out that he did pick his own pajamas out, he is big on layering!

Fun in the Snow

This past Friday we took a day trip up to Mt. Hood with my parents for a little snowshoeing and snow play.  Damian was so excited as I packed all the gear up the night before an even more so the next morning as we headed to the big mountain.

 Damian had so much fun sledding down the hill.  We took turns trekking up and sliding down with him.

 He even tried out Daddies snowshoes!

Safety First!

Damian insisted the other night that he needed to wear his "Space Helmet".  I was able to get him to take it off eventually but he was awfully cute all cuddled up with his helmet on.

Meet Miss Maggie

Are we a little crazy for a getting a new puppy?  Yes, yes we are!  She is an absolute doll though and we are all already smitten with her.  She is a 3 month old rescue pup from the shelter, they believe she is a Retriever/Rottweiler mix.  How anyone could have abandoned her and her 6 siblings is beyond me-they were too precious.  Charlie is doing really good with the new pup and I think that as soon as the weather is nicer he is really going to enjoy having a new playmate.  Damian on the other hand is super excited and especially loves to give her treats and hugs.

 Yes she is wearing a sweater-I couldn't help myself!  This will probably be the only time she will be able to wear one as she will soon be too big.

 She is a super sweet girl.

Big Boy Chair

Damian has officially graduated out of his high chair.  He was refusing to sit in it so I decided it was probably time that we go and get him a big boy booster chair.  He went with me to pick it out and he was so excited when we brought it home, he climbed right up.  Now he can sit at the table with all the grown-ups!
