Must be Santa...

Santa Claus!!!
Damian wasn't too thrilled to see the jolly old fellow, he cried.  I think it is tradition to have at least one crying Santa photo, right?!?!  After he got off his lap though he was all smiles and waves to Santa.  Luckily Santa didn't take it personally so I think there will still be presents under the tree.

Mui Family Christmas Trees

Heidi sent me these pictures of her Christmas Trees all decorated.

The "grown-up" look but don't touch tree.

And the kid friendly tree.  I love the angel ornaments on the top.
Such a good idea to have two trees.  Smart thinking Heidi!

The Hand Christmas Tree

One Charlie Brown tree, that normally would sit sadly on the farm watching all the other trees be taken home to decorate, got its Christmas wish.  Janel and her daughter Madelaine felt so sorry for this poor little tree, they couldn't leave it behind.  I think the tree is standing taller and prouder with its lights and ornaments on, knowing how special it is this Christmas!

Growing up I remember Jonathan always gravitated towards the Charlie Brown trees.  I don't remember how often we came home with one though, it was generally my moms final decision.

AMMWCM: Deck the Halls

A funny movie about some feuding neighbors, Christmas lights that can seen from space and making new traditions.  A funny family friendly movie.

O' Christmas Tree...part 1

I think this year was the coldest it has ever been whilst getting our Christmas tree.  It was a brisk 32 degrees but we braved it anyways and ventured out to the tree farm.
With it being super cold and a weekday we didn't have to wait to take the tractor up to the trees.

I am pretty sure Damian was wondering what happened to that poor tree.

Look at us all cute and holiday color coordinated!

Staking the claim to our tree.

It is important to teach your child at a young age how to put the tree in a tree stand.
I will be posting pictures later this week of our decorated tree.

AMMWCM: Home Alone

AMMWCM stands for A Mary Must Watch Christmas Movie
I couldn't think of anything shorter!
This is a great family fun comedy that never gets old.  It was written by the great John Hughes, known for his wonderful 80's classics.  The sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York is also pretty funny, and worth watching.  Don't bother with 3 and 4.  So if you need a good family friendly Christmas comedy I highly suggest Home Alone.
